Dr. Dr. Khaldoun Othman Al Sane is an Assistant Professor in Plant Science – Tissue Culture & Biodiversity. During his PhD thesis research at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa, Italy he investigated the anthocyanin biosynthetic pathway in some tomato mutants and in their genetic background, in order to find out where the anthocyanin biosynthesis is blocked or enhanced along the pathway. Later, he has worked as an Assistant Professor at King Khalid University, College of Sciences, Department of Biology (Saudi Arabia). He has an experience teaching a variety of Plant Biology courses on both undergraduate and master’s levels. In every class, he was including a blend of readings, media, and discussion in order to keep students active and engaged with the course material. He currently works as a researcher, Dept.of Plant Biodiversity, National Agricultural Research Center (NARC), Jordan.
