Dr. Asma Mami Maazoun
Dr Asma Mami Maazoun is a post doctoral researcher at the National Agricultural Research Institute of Tunisia where she serves as researcher. During her PhD thesis research in bioactive molecules at Laboratory of Protein Engineering and Bioactive Molecules, she studied biological activities of two medicinal plants of tunisian flora and isolated the main bioactive compounds. As a postdoctoral fellow at the Laboratory of Biotechnology Applied to Agriculture, she demonstrated insecticidal potential of natural compounds isolated from plantes towards insects and elucidated their mechanism of action.
