Dr. Maryam Haghshenas

Dr. Maryam Haghshenas was born in 1985 and has earned a B.Sc. in Computer Hardware Engineering from the Islamic Azad University, South Tehran branch, Tehran, Iran in 2007. She graduated with a M.Sc. in IT Management at Islamic Azad University, Science & Research branch, Tehran, Iran in 2011. In 2017, she completed a PhD in Media Management at the University of Tehran, Iran. Her thesis is titled: The presentation of a model to integrate social media in LMS (case study: University of Tehran E-learning Center). She achieved top student status during her PhD course.
She worked for Magfa IT Development Center Co. which is an affiliate of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization (IDRO) in Iran as a senior expert in implementing IT projects. Dr. Haghshenas is currently the project manager of e-learning courses at the prestigious IRI Broadcasting Organization. She has over 100 papers presented at national and international conferences and has been published in prestigious journals.
She is passionate about teaching in the e-learning, social media, and learning management systems fields.Dr. Haghshenas is currently active on the editorial boards of over 20 international journals and conferences. She obtained the “Top Researcher” ranking at the University of Tehran’s 22nd annual Research Festival in 2013 and the Silver Statue Award from the Iranian Researchers Network in 2017.
