Dr. Seema Garg
Dr. Seema Garg received her M.Sc. in 1998 and Ph.D.( Chemistry) in 2003 from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra, UP, India. She began her career in 2000 as a guest faculty for classes of MSc (Analytical Chemistry) in Agra college Agra then moved on to serve at Sachdeva Institute of Technology, Mathura from 2001-2011 as Head & Dean Students’ Welfare.
She then moved to Amity University in 2011 and is currently Head, Student Affairs, AIAS, AUUP, Noida. She had been Chairperson NTCC, AIAS. She has experience in teaching B.Tech., B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. students. She had a career standing of more than 20 years.
Her research interests involve synthesizing nanoparticles using green methods for therapeutic applications, photocatalytic applications, and hydrogen generation to provide an efficient and affordable solution to the industry.
She has to her credit Twelve PATENTS and a number of publications in journals of repute viz. Royal Society of Chemistry, Elsevier and MDPI journals.
She has to her credit as a Principal investigator a DST-NIRDO sponsored bilateral Indo-Hungarian Research Project with total funding of 1.74 Crore.
She has been invited as a speaker to present her ground-breaking research at many conferences Nationally and Internationally. She has been invited as a research scientist at the University of Szeged, Hungary, Europe where her work was well appreciated.
She was awarded for Exemplary collaboration during Indo-Hungary research program as Principal Investigator by University of Szeged, Hungary.
She is life time member of Indian Science Congress, Association.
She is actively involved in international collaborative research with Hungary, Brazil, South Africa, United Kingdom, Germany and Russia.
She has been the initiator & drive engine to formulate MoU with Szeged University, HU & has helped stir the career of many students by helping them to get research scholarships and continues to do so.
She is presently supervising four students towards her doctoral degree and has supervised many postgraduate students. She is also jointly supervising an International Ph.D. student.
She has published book and book chapters with leading publishers. She is on the reviewer and editorial board of many journals.
