Kailash Petkar
Dr. Kailash C. Petkar is soon to be joining as a Scientist, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, India. However, currently he is a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Simon Benita’s laboratory of nano drug delivery system at Institute for Drug Research, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research is focused on the formulation of complex protein and peptide molecules using micro and nano spray drying technology. Prior to joining Prof Benita’s lab, he was working as senior executive, F & D – Advanced wound care in India. He received his PhD from The M. S. University of Baroda, India. He was awarded Commonwealth Scholarship to pursue PhD research at The School of Pharmacy, University College London, UK. He has 15 research publications, 3 book chapters and conference presentations to his credit.
